Lets keep this thought in our minds. What is being done around the country to help.
Next week a local quilt shop is having an almost free demos throughout the week with admission being items needed by toronado workers - gloves, bottled water, insect repellent, bungee cords, tarps. etc.
I'm doing a repeat of my QuiltersTV show on binding and we will end the week with a Jelly Roll Race. Each must agree to finish the quilt and give it away and the prize will be a $$ donation in their name to the local Red Cross or Firemen efforts.
What are You and YOUR GROUP doing.

Our group received notice that a quilt guild in Joplin was wiped out. There was a call to donate items you would need for quilting: books, fabric, cutters, machines, etc. We've been gathering them up and sending.
