    This particular pattern came from Quilt Lover's Favorites, and was in Vol. 9, I am pretty sure. Made this one for my granddaughter who is teaching special needs children. It was so much fun to make.

    I use coffee filters for "tear away" stabilizer. I have used them when sewing silk to get the fabric started through the rolled hem foot. Very affordable!

    One good resource for acquiring the largest filters is your local Senior Center, Bingo Hall, or where ever else they use those huge percolators. I worked as a volunteer at my local VFW post and these were readily available. I think I gave them a whole dollar (they set the price) and I received a whole stacked section of them. I don't think I'll run out anytime too soon.

    Try ironing one to a piece of parchment paper before feeding it into your printer. Um, you try it first though........It was just a thought. :wink:

    Any non-computer paper I've used for paper piecing has had to be put through the copier one at a time. I use a business size machine. Some papers get stuck no matter how I try to feed them.
