I made the microwave bowl mitt and my husband loves it. So I made two more to take to my son when we spend the weekend. Quick, easy and unusual plus useful. Can't beat that!

There are lots of wonderful ideas here! I would love to receive anything that is homemade but my personal favorites would be an apron, shoe bags and/or a purse or tote bag. Whatever you make and give will be loved and appreciated......and beautiful I am sure! Good luck! Let us see photos of what you have made. :D

I'd like a nice set of fat quarters only in my favoite colors or a fairsize tote bag with inside and outside pockets to carry my "show and tell", even a coverbag for my cell phone to hang from my purse handle or belt loop. I love cutsey potholders and fancy tea towels. For family and close friends I make housecoats or nightgowns with either applique or embroidery, sometimes lace. Sure would enjoy getting one I did not have to make for myself. Also pajamas are so easy to make. As you can guess I do as much sewing as I do quilting. I love it all.

I would love to have a quilt! I know it sounds silly because I make quilts like everyone else here does but something about having someones love to feel when ever I wrap up in it.

I went to bookoodles of yard sales this summer and found enough coffee mugs for 25 cents each to fill a plastic bin. I'll be using my scraps to make mug organizers to put in them. I'll be making around 50 of them to give as gifts this year. And I like them so well, I'll make one for myself too! ;-)
