    Wow that is crazy!!! Yep I would definetely keep that as a reminder to myself too!! that's incredible how the needle didn't crack off!! You were very lucky, it could have been worse.. a broken needle in your eye or finger!

    Wow, I'd say you were really lucky! I'll have to start making sure I'm using my Schmetz (to lazy to check spelling) needles when I quilt. If that had been mine, I would have broken the machine :cry:

    OMG!! I'm so glad the needle didn't break off and hit you in the eye! I have never seen a needle go thru a safety pin like that.

    I would love to do a testimonial advertisement for the needle company. WOW! :shock: That's one tough needle! Glad you didn't get hurt and the quilt didn't suffer.
