I can top a TENS unit. I have had several back surgeries & now I have a "SPINAL CORD STIMULATOR" which is an implant
(prosthesis) under my skin. I work off of a remote control that masks the pain & NO ONE touches it! This way I can sew when ever I want to & not worry about being in lots of pain.

I have clutter but I know where everything is. My DH is a neat freak & I just tell him if you want things repaired stay out of my area

Put my machine into the table instead of on it. Huge difference in neck strain. Bought a back support at AAA that slips on my chair to support my back. Raised the cutting table.

I added a good rolling chair it has really helped my back. Now if I would sit in it and sew instead of sitting in this sorry chair at the computer I might get something done

They sell them in the mall now. At least down here in Deep South Texas. I saw them, was asked to try them, and then recognized them as TENS units. Approx $125

Default What I added tomy sewing room

I treated myself to the Alto's Cutting Board & it was the best thing I ever did, with arthuritus in my hands I can now cut with easy & no pressure involved.

    Good morning,
With my back injury there are times I can't sit so DH made me table risers for my work table (old dining room opens from 60 inches to 8 ft) I am on the short side so he made it using 2x4's and layered 3 high with second row crossed then added an edge in the center for the table legs to fit into. I use table for sewing on as well.
He also he made adjustments to my pc desk.
