I had long legs and no hips back then and the unblessed thing was always going south but how else to keep your nylons up?

 I wonder if 'trolley garters' was a reference to the trolley cars? They got their power from a rolling device that hung from the electric lines overhead. Well, maybe, because the trolley garters got their power hanging from the girdle. :D :D :D

Wooden spools-that's the real bargain! Pm me if you are interested in selling them.

How about getting a shadowbox frame and making a collage with those antique notions? Would be fantastic on the sewingroom wall.

I got all the stuff in one box so now I have an empty one to fill up!

If any of you ladies need to "refresh your girdle", I've got the trolley supporters you need. :-)
You should use those girdle thingies to hang up a wall hanging!
    omg...too funny!!!

Make sure you keep all of the wooden spools. Can't get them anymore and they are real cute to decorate with.

Every time I read about Goodwill on here it makes me want to go and I go there at least once a month! Our local Goodwill stores have one color tag a week that is a dollar and the last Friday and Saturday of the month everything that is donated is 50% off. I am almost addicted to this. Plus they have a workshop on the premises on the main Goodwill to help those who have certain challenges in their lives. They also have a frequent shopper program that for every $10 you spend they will stamp your card and when you get 10 stamps you get $5 off your next purchase.
