What was I thinking

The kiddo (8) is sewing away on her OBW, she fell in love with the Dragon Fabric shown here a couple of days ago.
I stayed up until wee hours cutting it out (messed up) but I don't think she will notice!
Doing everything from the tutorial since my book is on back-order.
Here are pictures of her first blocks sewn together! The far left is the first one and way wonky and the one of the far right is my tester.
Wish me Luck!

They look great to me! OBW's don't always come out perfect no matter how carefully you pin and cut. If the pattern is off a little, you still get the effect of the repeat. It is a good idea to leave your blocks half sewn,(3 triangles in a group) so you can put them together in straight rows to avoid the Y seams.

Update, we still only have the 3 blocks done, 2 partially sewn together and the sewing machine started acting up and I have been ripping out all the other pieces she had sewn, they were pieced wrong and pattern was off.
