I have two chairs that i use. One is in my sewing room that is an armless office chair with wheels. The other one is the living room that I have my other sewing machine set up in and it is an armless, backless artist chair. Without the back, I'm more concious about the way I sit. it also has wheels.

I use a computer chair with wheels but no arms. I have a unfinished basement and I love being a to wheel from my sewing machine to cutting board

I have an Office chair. Went to Staples Office supply and sat in 15 to 20 different ones. Then I narrowed it down to 2 or 3, then sat for a while in each one. Got one ,and it has rollers and arms and is not too heavy, as it goes with me on retreats ,etc.

I like a computer chair with wheels. That way I can easily turn from machine to ironing board or to other supplies needed.

Leather office chair with arms. It has the ability to rock back a little to rest my back.

Just bought a new desk chair with my staples rewards. I haven't brought it up the three flights of stairs to my apt yet because it has rained two out of three days and I will have to bring it up in pieces. But when I tried it out in the store, it was so comfy. If the cat likes it, it is a keeper!

Do you use a foot pedal standing up? I tried and couldn't control it very well.
