I like small prints, flowers, animals, etc. I don't like baticks but if they come in a packet, then I will use them up quick to clear them out. Talking about stashes. I have for many years, cut 5 inch squares out of pieces left over from projects. SOOOOOOOOOOO- I end up with a carry on suitcase of 5 inch squares. I saw an idea somewhere, what you could do something with them except just squares. It incorporated tiny Bow ties, Drunkers Path and others. So now in my pre-move days, I make tiny blocks and just sew them together. As long as they are the same size, who cares what pattern I use. It actually is a lot of fun doing this.

I'm drawn to pastels. Also tone-on-tones, no matter their color value.

What ever takes my fancy when I have a design worked out. I love batiks and will add to stash when I find some on sale.
Sale fabrics are my favorites. grin. Cotton Satine by the bolt as I use that for dying and painting.

I went on an adventure and went to all the fabric stores here in Omaha and now I have lots lots of fabric. I am trying to hold off buying more until my quilt for the kids is done for Christmas. I still have one more shop to visit and I might have to go since they are giving away a fat quarter if you bring in new underwear for the Share program. I love anything fabric designed by "Blackbird Design" which is under MODA. Highly recommend their Country Inn and Garden Club books. :-P

I'm usually drawn to blues. Lately I lust after batiks, nature/camping/outdoors (evergreens, leaves, river rocks, pinecones, sky, beach, etc), and tone on tones.

I have a pretty good sized collection of focal fabrics, so I usually buy blenders and solids too use in sashings and bindings. But there is always a new fabric in that LQS that I just have to have a couple of yards of

I tend to buy blacks mostly, trying to use up my stash before it is way out of date.
