I have started a batiks collection for a "someday" quilt and I also collect purples from all the quilt shops I visit in my travels that I will someday make a quilt from.

Lots of Moda as long as it's sale fabric but my favorite are all the civil war reproduction prints.

I buy what is on sale unless I am stuck and need something special for a quilt I am working on, like binding. I do stick strictly with 100% cottons.

I have been buying most of the Kansas Troubles line. Normally 1/2 yard of each fabric -- one of my local stores normally carries the entire line each release -- except this past Christmas. I want enough of the line to make a log cabin for our bed using almost entirely different fabrics. I've collected a lot; but, don't think I'm there yet. Hope I can continue for a few more seasons.

I also buy all kinds of fabric. Love batiks -- have a lot of them.

Normally I buy fabric for small projects. Also some I like in 1/2 yard increments -- it varies.

I'm always looking for fabrics with a "Mexican flavor".....serape stripes, colorful flowers, that sort of thing. Can't get enough of them! We are all doomed to fabric overload!! :-D

100% Cotton a must; 30s repos; batiks, blenders, marbled; already have a ton of large print and focus fabrics
