I have the Rowenta craft iron and I love it. This is actually my second one. I use it more than my large iron.

I don't use steam that much but when I do it steams like crazy. So far no leaks at all.
Thanks BellaBoo! I have a Tuesday Morning in my city. I think I might run out there and check it out!

Boy Ewecansew! You're definitely prepared! It's smart to have one in every area, because I am always running back and forth to get things.

A big THANKS to all of you for your great help and information. It looks like my choice should be the SteamFast SF-717 Home-and-Away Mini Steam Iron. Those of you who have one seem very pleased with yours.
My husband used to have one of the Black and Decker foldaway travel irons, but I sold it at my garage sale years ago when hotels started supplying them in their rooms. :( I know it was a good little iron.
This site is so supportive of newbies like me, and I greatly appreciate your support!
    Mary ;)

The Black & Deckers can still be found at thrift stores and on Ebay. I have about 4 different mini irons and the B&D is by far my favorite.

I got this one for Christmas and I love it. Small, easy to carry and works great. http://www.amazon.com/SteamFast-SF-7...8926251&sr=8-1
