I got mine at Hancock Fabrics. And it was on sale at the time. I've only used it once but really liked it.

I like 505. Just tried the Elmer's washable glue and not thrilled with it. Might try more later.

I agree with Sandy about the Mettler Web Bond. It is light and doesn't really have a smell. I found the best price at allbrands. They only sell by the case, but you could do a group buy and share the case. That's what I will probably do.

Sullivans was easily found at Walmart but have bought it at Hancocks. After helping a friend pin baste a whole bunch of quilts, we ran out of pins and I hauled out my spray, She is now sold on it! Haven't tried another brand. Have researched online and basting sprays are readily available online.

Just went on the Hancocks Fabric (not Paducah) website and the Mettler is on sale for $7.49 a can.

My favorite is 505. I have been using 101 lately because the price of it is right. I got 10 cans of it for free.

I like kk100 by gunold when I can find it. My LQW that went out of business used to sell it. It seems to work like 505 but a can lasted longer.

For all of you who have used Mettler Web bond...I watched the Youtube video on the product. It looks so thick and sticky, almost fibrous. I'm curious, does it gum up your needle or machine? 505 is so expensive, I would love to find an inexpensive alternative.

Check this board for tutes on using Elmer's Washable School Glue. It's sooooo much better than spray and cheeeep.
