That first design looks quite easy and fast. Would love to try my hand at it. The rest are eye catching too.

Neonatal Intensive Care quilts - call your nearest NICU facility and see what size they want - the premie babies just lie on top of them. Parents love the oin an otherwise sterile environment - but they do get sent through hospital laundry first - so make the sturdy - not fussy.

I just do whatever goes together fast and visually pleasing, while at the same time getting rid of some scraps. Some of the quilts I've seen for Quilts of Valour are real serious designs... Way more special than I get into for charity. But I work 40 hours a week, so my quilting time is limited. And, like others have said, I get way more ideas than I can ever actually make!

I make quilts for graduates of a local drug rehab program. These men are always so appreciative. One man told me he keeps his on the couch back to remind him of what he accomplished.

If you find a local program there is no shipping and you get a feel for the recipients. Enjoy..

I do the QFK, but usually out of my more stash so I can be more creative.
