I bought some bolts of fabric. A local quilt store has a back room selling bolts (A LOT ) for $16. Some had as little as 4 yds others were nearly full bolts. The original owner died and had on over abundance. How could I pass this? Picked fabrics I could use as background or backing or both

My last purchase was the larger sized Creative Grids' Stripology Ruler. I loved my old one but it just wasn't large enough both directions when I went to cut strips plus I crackd one corner of it. It still worked fine but it gave me an excuse to buy the larger one when it was on sale and I think I might have had a coupon also. This was maybe 3-4 years ago so you can see I don't or haven't boughten much these days, not even thread or needles as I have plenty of both.

Crinoline. Never heard of it before taking a guild class using jewels to enhance. It is the stiff foundation for the project. Also ordered jewels and velvet squares!

I picked up 3.5 yards of cream fabric at a yard sale a couple of weeks ago that I will use as backing or neutral blocks for a future quilt. When you know what you use often, you grab it whether it was a true bargain or not. It did cost less than from a shop.

I thought I was through shopping for awhile but that was just me thinking. I ordered a Daisy Grace template set this morning.

Ha! I bought a box of Magic Pins. I got the ones that said they were for quilting, they had several different options in the display rake. On first try, I bent one. Oops need something a bit more robust. But then, when I was pinning on little labels for the blocks as to their row and position, I really like how easily those pins pierced the fabric and paper. So, I will be using them for that purpose and also when I have fine fabric to pin together. Oh, no, never can have too many different styles of pins!

I have been eyeing a couple of Bonnie Hunter's books for a while and I just ordered her "String Fling" and "More Adventures with Leader and Enders".

I had to reorder more zipper pulls. I need 45 and only had 40. Making retreat gifts for Nov retreat. Always something being delivered at my house.
