I sew with a singer quilting machine. It cost $300.00 on sale at Joann fabric. It was marked down $100.00. So far, so good. I love it. Haven't tried FMQ yet but I will on the wall hanging I'm working on. That is if I ever get the time to finish piecing it together. lol

I use whichever machine I walk to. I have Husqvarna/Vikings, Designer I (my workhorse), Designer SE, Topaz, and Diamond. I use the Diamond to embroider & quilt on the machine, which I am currently doing. I also have a White treadle, the Singer I learned to sew on in the 40's, and several other old ones.

My Viking D1...absolutely love the machine for both piecing and machine quilting. It's got a nifty little thing that keeps track of how long the needle was going up and down while I was quilting...but it doesn't count the latte and potty breaks...

A fancy, schmancy Bernina 830 for my piecing and embroidery-I got this one in March. A Janome 9000 for my back-up, that I got 11 years ago, that now sits in the closet. And my newest arrival is solemnly looking at me, wanting me to get her up and running, a Morse 4500.
