I got my free charm pack in the mail today. Now, Ive never used a charm pack, jelly roll, etc. What can be made with just the charm pack? I think Id like to try a miniature, thats the only thing I can think of to do with it. What will you do with yours? Whats a good place for free miniature patters? I have the template here from rhonda and want to give it a try.

How big are the squares? If they are a 5" charm pack there are patterns out there to make purses using them. I have made one.

I find it hard to find miniature quilt patterns on line unless they are paper piecing. But.. that could be just my searching skills

Hope this helps - Good Luck

Look in the PDA section of Eddie's Cave page 5. The second quilt is an example of using charm squares. It can easily be adapted to the size of the square. I did a top like it using 5" squares and I alternated mine with a print strip. between rows of skewed stars.

Look on Moda's Bake Shop site. They have lots of patterns to make with the charm packs in mind.

I was totally uninspired till I saw the blocks on the left in that picture of Rhondas.

i made tote bags with 35 charms. with pockets inside and one outside.

and i'm making a tumbler quilt with some, i just made a tumbler template. 5 inches at the bottom for the five inch sqs and the top was 3 inches. so i didn't have to cut off much. i actually saved the slivers and will put them in the border!

Good idea! I love tumblers and I'm wondering about my free charm pack too. I can't believe I bought fabric for no purpose!
