    Default What to make

I have never made a quilt for myself..... I thought I would make Tenn. Waltz for our bed but I just looked at some pictures of Tenn. Waltz and it's not the quilt I want to make. Nothing seems to move me. What's your favorite quilt?

I want to make a Hunter's Star for myself, and also a Shakespeare in the Park. I love both of those patterns but haven't attempted either.

Go to Quilterscache.com and look at all the block patterns she has. She also shows pictures of what the blocks put together look like.

I'm a sucker for the classic patterns done in 30's prints. Double Irish Chain, Dresden Plate, Double Wedding Ring, etc.

Play around with Google images. Do you have a color in mind? For example you can put in "red and white quilts" and a few zillion pictures will come up. Maybe that will get your mind moving the right direction.

I would love to make this into a full sized quilt one day http://www.quiltingboard.com/picture...t-t208253.html it is just a combination of a snails trail block with the storm at sea sashing.

I am making a Periwinkle (also know as Arkansas Snowball) for myself. I have it almost done. I am paper piecing 6" blocks so it has been very tedious! I put it away for awhile to work on other things. It's been about 6 months since I started it.
