Give me your mom's number...maybe she'll tell ME! I will swear I don't know you and wouldn't dream of telling you anything. Of course, I lie.

[quote=fryguymoore]Below is the email I just got. Mom is in California and my birthday is June 29th. What else might she send other than a sewing machine from this store???? I think I have no choice now but to plan my next quilt, right? You don't know how tempted I am to call the store since Mom won't fess up.
I'd say its either a sewing machine or a boat anchor, lol.

I haven't ever heard of a sewing machine that weighs 57lbs! A quilting frame maybe? A vacuum cleaner? I guess you could say I am out of ideas.

My DH got curious & weighted my Janome 11000 at 38 1/2 lbs. So hoops, box, attachments, packing - could be! If a vacuum weights that much - send it back :-)

Sounds like something I had delivered to me... But it would be wrong of me to tell you what it was before your big day!

    Anticipation is half the fun.
