    It depends. I do have a rule about taking out and redoing mistakes. I'm one that only redoes what bothers me, but I won't do more than two tries to redo it. As far as points and seams, fabric has a limit to how many times thread can be torn out, so sometimes it's just better to accept it if its better than before but not perfect. The mistakes I rip out the most are FMQ mistakes. I may be better at taking stitches out than I am at quilting.

    If I can't stand it, nobody else will either. So I fix those mistakes, if it is going to work itself out when quilted, I don't bother because nobody will notice.
