What is my problem?

This is called in the back of my mind working on my next project cause this one is at a standstill. Just take it home & put on the shelf & have for a rainy day. I have material I have bought on trips that I keep for a special quilt I'm going to make someday. If I use everything I have bought this quilt will cover half of Texas.

Why do you think Joann's sends those 40% off coupons. The thing you want is on sale for 30% off so you can't use the coupon , you search for something that you can use the coupon on and buy 5 other things on sale and off you go saving $2.00 and spending $35.00. Quite a shopper!!!

Too funny. I wish I had found you ladies a long time ago. I have more fabric than I could use in a lifetime, yet still buy more every time I go to get thread, buttons, whatever... My children know that as they leave for college - second one goes this fall - I'm making their rooms extensions of my sewing room

Some problem! We all identify with you! Yesterday DH and I came home with a garbage bag and a couple of boxes of fabric scraps from his aunt. She's going into an assisted living residence and can't take a lot with her, so she offered what she had to me. I'm not sure how please my sweetie was, as we are moving to a different house sometime in the next couple of months, but so what? I'm gonna have fun just looking through my treasure tonight. The next time we go see her, she wants me to look through a bunch of old quilt and craft magazines she had subscribed to and kept through the years. This awesome lady is 93 years old!

If you have some uncut fabric, a jet printer and a scanner I even have a solution to your original problem. You can buy paper backed white fabric that you can run through your Jet printer. Scan the fabric you need more of into your computer. Once you have the scanned picture, print it out onto the fabric. Be sure to follow the package directions for the fabric. You must iron the fabric to set the ink. The peel off the paper and cut out the shapes you need.
