    I don't know the name of it either. I have to say that I love the secondary patterns formed when they intersect. This is a very cool block pattern.

    Guess what ! I was searching for a different pattern and I found the pattern to make this one in a Fons and Porter book called, "Fat Quarter Friendly", by Leisure Arts. Page 41. It is a winding ways. This pattern uses applique to make the blocks.
