Default What name have you given your sewing space/room ? :)

My first sewing space was a tiny spot in our bedroom against the wall...on my Dh's side of the room. (because there was a window I could look out when I sewed.) The chair had to be pushed in for my husband to pass by.

Years later, I moved on to a room of my own. Its not a total sewing space as there is a daybed for guests or me when I get tired from a sewing marathon. I decided to name my Sewing Room my "Quilt-A-Way", as in hide-a-way, because I go in there to quilt a way and sometimes get hidden in the fabric.

What name do you call your sewing/quilting space/room?

We moved a year and a half ago to a house that has enough room for me to have my own sewing room. I just refer to it as "my room". I am way more productive because I can get to all my "stuff" and never have to turn it into a guest room. Maybe I'll think of a new name
    for it one day.

My DH named my sewing room "Lala Land" and even made a plaque for the door stating such. He said when I'm in Lala Land everything else is forgotten. I'm ashamed to have to agree with him. LOL

Right now I call mine "The Abyss" anything missing in there won't be found until spring clean up! This is what happens when you work on one project after the other with no clean up in between!

I have moved all my quilting/sewing things to my dining/living area. When I had it in a small room it was "the Cave" now I call this my comfort zone.
