I love those doughnut shaped bobbin holders, much better than the mess my bobbins were always in.

I have one of the bobbin holders and made a small pincushion to fit in the middle. Glued it into the donut hole. It works great for me.

    Bobbin holder Pincushion.

I googled the Bernina Swiss Army knife..Wow, that looks interesting, but pricey. ($130. US) I'd take one as a gift from my husband or kids.

I love my extra-long handled bent nose tweezers, especially for turning skinny tubes and for poking out corners.

I always have my seam guage, ripper, scissors and magnetic pin holders right next to my machine.

I use it to poke the cat, lol. Well, not really - it is used for the "usual."

What a great idea. I'm going to try and make one too. Thanks for the idea.
My favorite tool is a spring action thread clipper. It is SHARP, small and has a curved blade at the tip. It is perfect for cutting threads when doing machine embroidery. I have one for each machine and 1 in my handsewing basket. It is called Tweezer Snips with Curved blades.

Love the iron idea. Will have to keep my eyes out for one. Love the pincushion in the bobbin donut, too.
    Great ideas!

I'm with you. Small sharp pointed scissors are a must. They can even substitute for a seam ripper.
    Absolutely!!
