I can top this for useless. I bought the nylon ones. They are so thick, that you can not press on them except to press the seam to one side. I tried them one time. My Clover bias tape makers do a much better job and saves me several steps over the bars.

LOL you girls are cracking me up. Let's see, what do I hate? Of course, the pounce but not because of the slam factor... it's because I can't stand the smell of it (I have a very sensitive nose). I really need to put it up for sale because I will never use it and of course I bought TWO kinds of pounce and a bunch of stencils LOL. And it was at a show, where they can convince me to buy anything.

The other thing (also a show purchase) that I've never used is my electric seam ripper that looks like a shaver. It supposedly zips away down the seam without harming the fabric. I very seldom need to rip out a long seam so what the heck was I thinking there? It isn't worth getting the thing out unless you're ripping a queen sized something or other!

Also, most of my very expensive Martelli collection sits in a drawer... the shapes, the rotary cutter that I never could figure out how to use without losing a digit, those binding thingys they sell.... bought the whole collection off HSN when they used to sell Martelli. Again, my brain was dysfunctional, apparently.

I do use both the Purple Thang and the bobbin winder, so I suppose that's a win. Oh, and I love the Simplicity binding machine that most people hate... the one that presses and folds the binding for you. I use that all the time.

The fabric calculator hasn't been used since I purchased it--maybe I need to read the instructions and I might use it! Just kidding.......

I bought a freemotion thingy that fits Viking machines. It has a metal bed that is supposed to help you move your quilt on the Viking DSM's. Brought it home, tried to use it a few times, then put my longarm on lay-away. Once I got the longarm, I never looked back. I need to sell the darn thing!! Anyone here have a Viking machine that they want to buy this for?

Some specialty templates/rulers (like the "Twister"). Mostly because I haven't gotten around to it yet.

I think I will do this little thing...
    1) find all the stuff I've never used
    2) gift wrap all of them
    3) put them up until I get that "I want something new" urge
    4) then unwrap one of my "gifts"

Of course, I could always just have them handy for quilty friends too.

I don't know the name of it, but it has a very nice round wooden handle, and a metal shank (round and smooth) with notches intended to help take quilting safety pins out. I never use it for anything!

lol at the pounce thing. another thing i never use is the bloc-loc ruler. had to have it tho. the lori holt Seams Sew Easy guide for sewing perfect 1/4" seam. didn't realize that because my pfaff has a curved bed that the seam guide wouldn't work for it. waste of money. those handy dandy binding clips are great if i can find them. put them in a container so i wouldn't lose them. can't find the container.

Does it count if I bought it by mistake? I bought a ruler that I thought was just a regular grid but when I got it home I realized it was something else. I'm not sure what it's for, but for some reason I didn't get to returning it, and now it sits at the bottom of my ruler pile.

I got a Double-Strip cutting template, never used and never will unless I can figure out what quilt I wanted to make with it.
