There are a LOT of imitation because the Yellow Brick Road is such a beloved favorite pattern. BUY the pattern and support this creative designer. Not everything in life is free. If you design a cute quilt pattern, wouldn't you like to enjoy some extra income from something you worked hard at?? Just a thought.

Thank you all for your help with this. I will see if I can get somewhere to purchase the pattern otherwise I will come up with an alternate plan. Doing a baby bow tie quilt at the retreat but just wanted something extra to take along for variety and have the fat quarters. Will look into the turning 20 quilt pattern and add a few more fat quarters. Sharon

At my last retreat, I worked on a quilt top with lots of wonky stars. It was fantastic for a retreat, since the star points were whatever size they wanted to be. Great for late nights when you're too tired to think hard, or any time you want to chat more than you want to concentrate on perfection.

Gale, thank you for the link I think that may be the one I will do. Seems easy enough to be able to not get too stressed out about. Sharon
