My co-worker and I are planning on making a full size quilt for our boss. He is always so good to us and he has a fishing cabin. I bought the material with fish, bears, eagles, bobcats and such. Really manly looking. Now I can't decided on a pattern other than DN9. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Warm Wishes is great for all and allows for a focus fabric

Log cabin would be a good one. Or what about a streak of ligntening or rail fence? Or you could just cut the blocks big sqs so you could see the design. The 10 min block is a good one too. Be sure and post a photo of it when it's done!! We all love "eye candy" Happy Stitchin' crafty_linda_b

Try this one Center Stripes. It is on All People Quilt website. I did it for a friend's brother using ties from his father who past away. I think is very "manly" looking.

This is a great pattern for showing off focus fabrics and isn't very difficult.

I made a nice bear paw quilt with fishing, fly tying and cabins fabric - each bear paw had a theme like fishing, hunting, or cabin, etc. It turned out real nice.

That is a great idea too! Will check on that. I done the turning twenty twice now and really like the results. Love the warm wishes yet.
