If you added a background you could do a carpenter's star/wheel, maybe save one of the fabrics for the border.

Your first and last fabrics are very similar in value. If you squint your eyes and look at them they appear to be practically the same. I would add a light fabric to the group. I don't really have a suggestion for the pattern.

I am horrible at deciding on patterns, which is why I frequently go for kits, if they are in my color choices. Some call it lazy, but I've been called worse. LOL
I have the purple and love it. I love the florals and think a soft pink would be a good addition, but then a soft taupey green would work too. I also agree about not making the blocks too small so you don't lose the scale. An easy pattern would be to just alternate solid blocks of each fabric, or the two florals, sashed with the purple.

If you do a dnp then I would do the prints in the corners and the purple in between and then maybe a pink or taupe for the center square to be cut up. that would keep the two prints from blending too much. but that is me. I would also do either a tonal or another batik for the smaller square. I have used that dark purple in about 10 different quilts. I love it to bits. It is really nice to work with and keeps its color well. I have about 5 more yards of it to be used in other quilts.

Go here and enter your colors and block sizes in the little place at the left of the playground part of the site and see what pops up.http://www.freequiltpatterns.info/ Be adventuresome because you have lovely fabric. Good luck and be sure to keep us in the loop

I think taupe would be beautiful with your fabric also. Sorry can't tell you a pattern cuz I'm too new to quilting. Hope you show us the quilt when it is finished.
