Unhappy What quilt block do you hate to make?

For me it's a toss up between Drunkard's Path (curves) and Log Cabin (all that pressing/trimming). Give me 4 at a time Flying Geese!

I hate square in a square. I can't get it right unless I paper piece it. On the other hand, I love making log cabin blocks. I cut the logs to size before sewing, so there's no trimming. I chain piece at least 10 at a time, so the pressing is done in a batch.

I find a 9 patch the least liked for me. I have a ton of them made up for a quilt and have gone no further w it in over a year now. It will continue at another time. I would rather do a Drunkard's Path Juliemn1 than a 9 patch any day.

triangle in a square. They never seem to come out to exactly the right size for me.

If I hate a pattern, I choose another I like better.

I don't like any quilt block with a lot of small units. Not worth the effort to me.

Sunbonnet Sue. Ugh. Not sure if anyone even makes that one anymore. I love applique, but that one's too cutesy for me.

I've never actually made one, but I find the very idea of Drunkard's Path thoroughly unappealing, because of all those tight curves. I learned to sew with garment and costume sewing, so I can certainly sew curves - think set in sleeves - , but when it come to quilting, there are so many appealing quilts that can be made with straight line sewing. I am particularly charmed by the quilts that give the *impression* of curves with straight lines, such as the Storm at Sea design.

I am not a big fan of flying geese. It’s funny, I chose flying geese for my temperature quilt so making 366 of them- one at a time...ugh...but it’s turning into a great quilt. My thought was only one a day I can deal with that- having to make a bunch at a time for a border or something- no thank you

I dread anything that has 8 fabrics intersecting. I have tried spinning my seams, I end up making a mess.
