What Quilt Design Software do you have/like?
#1
Forgive me if this has been asked already at some point, I'm new to the board and I would like to purchase quilt design software and am looking for opinions, EQ6 seems to be the all the rage but I would like to try it out before I buy it and apparently they don't have trials. Any others out there with a try before you buy? Thank you in advance~!

I have EQ6, and get on with it very well, but then I had EQ5, and updated, so I was used to that first, and I also have several of the books, which I worked through the lessons to get a really good grounding in it.
BTW, Congratulations on your anniversary.

The EQ6 has a website with videos of what it can do and how. There's a help icon on the toolbar too. I don't own it but just researched it yesterday on the net. Spoke with several in chat room last night who have it. Most have not used it extensively yet. Let us know if you buy it and like it.

I thing EQ 6 is the gold standard. I use it, and I love it, even though I still haven't figured out how to do everything I want to do on it yet. There's definitely a learning curve involved for the more advanced features, but as a beginner you can jump right in and start having some fun! I'd highly recommend it--you won't outgrow it.
