    How funny! I just watched this movie again this afternoon. I was busy sewing while it was playing so although I saw the "babymaker" quilt, I did not pay much attention to it. Thanks, HillaryK8, for the frame of it. I will have to go back and watch more closely.

    Yes, and I am now more interested in the old Western's (either the TV shows or movies). When people are bed ridden because of being shot or because of an illness there is usually a quilt on the bed to be studied - Ha Ha!

    Watch the old Disney movie So Dear to my Heart. Great quilts in that one, they call them quivers. Old Granny thinks her quilts are not for the public to gape at. Great movie for the whole family. Beryl Ives sings Lavender Blue in it. The goat scene is hilarious!
