Great :?: ! I'd like to finish my Sidelights pattern project for my dad. The top is done, I am working on a quilting motif, and working up the courage to try working with metallic threads. I'll be doing a happy dance if I get it done (but am doubtful  )

I have to finish the Twisted Palms quilt in 3 weeks so I can bring it to Jamaica as a wedding gift. I'm also working on a mini lonestar - mostly as a practice of new techniques. Then ... I NEED to finish my Omigosh that I started 11 months ago and then got side-tracked (wedding quilt) but I have 1/2 the blocks done. I certainly do not expect to finish it by the end of the year, but I hope to make a lot of progress.

A quilt as you go Christmas quilt I am taking a class for on Monday! I would love to get two little comphy quilts done for my grandbabies to drag around when they visit. On top of that is a huge list of both quilted and sewn objects.

Finishing a quilt for DGS for Christmas, four sets of four placemats (total of 16) for four friends, and binding and labeling three quilts for friends for Christmas. I have already started so hopefully I'll be finished by Christmas.

Let's see, twin size quilts for 2 granddaugthers who got engaged this year and a twin size one for granddaugher who bought her own condo. That should keep me busy to the end of the year.

All the while I'll be planning in my head two small quilts for my Guild's show in May. Both quilts will be from ideas I got from books I read with my small quilting and book group. One from novel about Vincent Van Gogh and the other about The Jersey Shore.

Fall quilt - on my design wall right now - trying to decide what size to make it ! 62 x 80 ? would that be a double or Queen??

12 days of Christmas - waiting for fabric

    Snowflake quilt

BOM quilt -top done needs quilting
Oriental BOM - just a block or two done

Realistically I'd be happy if I get the 1st two done!

I want to finish my first quilt. I am almost finished with the top. Picked a rather time consuming border and spending more time piecing that than I did the top but I am very happy with it.
It will be done soon (top) then I need to muster some bravery to quilt it myself.

Cut 2" strips of light color. ( I used white)
Cut 3" strips of dark color. (black)
Cut strips in 4 1/2 squares and make a four patch block placing the light colors like a stair.
Top left white strip on the north.
Top right white on the west.
Bottom left white on the west.
Bottom right white on the north.
Obviously sewn strips of blacks then prints then sew all strips togerther.
    The border is seminole patchwork.
