I have finished the christmas present and almost finished the binding on a wedding gift, the wedding is in March, but my gbaby is moving in with me Sunday, I was smart to get it done early don't you think?

A bug quilt for the grandson and two chicken quilts for me. After Christmas three other quilts need quilting.

I have been working on a quilt called Ode to the Thirties. I had to suspend working on it for 7 months and now I am back. I am almost ready to assemble the various squares into the top. I'm apprehensive but determined.

Shoot, I guess it is time to think about that. Well, I have a coupe of unquilted tops that I would like to finish. They started the year as UFOs on my "To Do This Year" list and I feel pretty good that they went from sitting in a tub in tiny, cut up pieces to a quilt top; but I would love them to finish 2011 as quilts ready to be used and loved!

I think that means that I better quit looking at magazines, books or pictures on the board because looking at those always make me want to start a new project. Discipline! That's what I lack/need. :-)

I need to finish quilting my SIL wedding quilt that is 5 years late. If I get that done I will be evaluating my WIP pile. I usually get the urge to start new projects in January (the new year and all) and perhaps I'd I can prioritize first and maybe something unfinished will be inspiring.

I want to finish handquilting the DWR that my dear mother made for me before she passed away. It is the reason I got into quilting in the first place! Now my sister and I both quilt and we consider it mother's legacy to us!

I have two baby quilts to machine quilt. Then I am making Lil'Twister wreath wallhangings and coffee mugs with matching mug rugs for Christmas presents. I'm also crocheting a couple of slouchy beanies, too.

I have about 8 BOMs that I have been working on (not as often as I should!) for several years. I've finished 2 of them (all but sending them to the quilter) and I'm plodding ahead on the others. I'm doing pretty good at not buying new fabric and starting new projects - well, until the General's Wives starts next month!
