What sewing table should I buy?
#1
I am looking for a sewing table that will allow my machine to sit flush with the table surface. I have a Bernina QE440 machine. I am interested in hearing from you quilters who have a sewing table you really like and recommend. (And hearing about which tables I should avoid.)
I don't need a large table as I have plenty of table space to spread out my quilt tops -- just a small table that I can butt up to the large tables.
I am going to the Houston International Quilt show in November and can look at sewing tables then. I hope you can steer me to brands and models that are the best. I trust your recommendations more than the manufacturers' brochures.

I really like Tracy's tables. They do go to alot of shows so you might see them at Houston. They are a very good company and will modify just about anything to your needs. They are much less expensive than very high end like Horn.

They often have show specials and if you are local can negotiate for a model on the floor at the show for pick up at the end ( will save you shipping $$).

I bought an old L shaped desk and my DH cut out a spot to fit my machine and make it flush. The desk was $10 and it has been super.I love the L,I keep my iron and cutting mat to the left and I can swing around without getting up.

I have the Bernina 440QE. Here's the table I got recently for her.
