There have been several posts lately asking what project should the poster do next, or running out of ideas, or lost inspiration etc etc etc etc

Let me suggest that you just put those thoughts aside and not worry about it and make a top or quilt to give to chairity or to send to toronado areas. Simple squares will keep you going and motivated and enable you to think about that next special project. Do stop just because you can't think of something wonderful to do. Or cut up those odd pieces of fabric and start sewing together....

Have I made myself clear? lol

I find that even when I need a break from the rushed project a little pause and sew squares is the rest I need.

Good idea. We all have scraps and there are lots of places to donate. Just pick one.

This is a great idea. I always have a "strippy" quilt going anymore. Sometimes straight line "mindless sewing" is just what I need to relax. I donate mine to a local domestic violence shelter.

Oh this is a GREAT idea. Our quilting group makes lap quilts for a local nursing home too!
