all the above AND a pickle tote bag for when she brings them all in to share (like the wine totes that have separators so the glass doesn't 'clink')

I agree. There are a few posted on this site...here's a beautiful one I bookmarked: http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-77009-1.htm. Something similar is on my list for a friend who does a lot of pickling, jams and jellies and relishes.

Make a hamburger quilt and use the pickles, or a picnic quilt, with different foods and use the pickle fab for potato salad. Just a thought.

Wow, so many great ideas! Thanks everyone! Going to have to think about it for a day or two. I like the jar idea. The jar could go on aprons, pot holders, a bag, or anything! I like the wall hanging idea too, just not sure what size she might have room for in her kitchen! .....so many good ideas!

I see it in a "picnic quilt", with other fresh veggies fabrics.

I like the Pillowcase and apron Ideas, but hot pads and table runer, and how about a bag holder for the plastic bags. A picnic table cloth, or a linner for a picnic basket.???
endless oh and maybe a cookbook cover for her fave cookbook.
