I would like to know from all those those out there who quilt and have a sew table either you made yourself or purchased(the plexiglass kind that fit around your machine but sit ontop of the table like the one Dream World makes, what size do you like?
    I'm between a 18x24 and the 24x24?
is the 24x24 too deep, anotherwords do you feel too far from your needle?
    thanks!!!

Mine is 18 x 24. It's a nice size, but for me personally, if I had it to do over, I'd get the larger 24x24. I'm almost certain the extra 6 inches is on the back.

Most of the table extends behind the machine so getting a larger one won't make you feel like your further from your needle. I have the 24 x 24 and never sew without it. I don't think I'd be as happy with the 18x24.

My hubby is going to make me one. He has alot to the plexiglass and said it should not be to hard to make. The hard part is finding time to build one. LOL You should see my honey do list. :XD: I think I will ask for 24 x24.

I have the 24x24 size. It took forever to get it. If I had to do it again I'd deal right with the company. I went through a sewing center and I think they slowed up the process. I love mine and use it all the time. It gives you so much more working surface. It was worth the price.

I bought one thru ebay, but it is 11and a half by 15 and it is thru dreamworld. It seems just fine to me, but was sure expensive.
