I have a total of 4 sewing machines, a serger and a embroidery machine. Only use the Singer 301 on a regular basis because I love it so much. I may not use them all, but I feel so much better just knowing I have them. I have plans to get a couple more too. I even sleep in my sewing room from time to time(more than hubby wants me to) so that I can be close to them and wake up in morning looking at all my babes. I know it sounds nuts but it makes me happy!

I didn't know he bought a new pickup until he drove it home and he knew I bought a new car when he saw it in our garage. We are perfect for each other, both independent as heck but love being together.
Oh my Gosh that sounds exactly like us. We have been married for 53 years so it definitely works for us.

"He says, how many machines does it take to sew a quilt?", her reply is "How many guns does it take to shoot a deer?" She never hears another word from him after that>

That's so funny as I do the same thing but my husband golf's so I say how many putters or wedges do you need?...Golf clubs are expensive I told him I could buy a lot of fabric for what he pays for a club and have something for my money and even sell it and get a small profit you don't get that from golfing....doesn't say a word any more...
