my hubby isn't the gun fan in the house--i am. so for christmas last year, he bought me a full size gun safe, and bolted it into a concealed part of the house. best present ever, except maybe for the sewing machines he's bought for me over the years...

our compromise? he doesn't count the machines or bolts of fabric, and i don't do inventory in the wood shop or the bicycle "stable". last time he raised an eyebrow over my getting a machine, i offered up that i could just sell off one of his bicycles, and buy several really good sewing machines! no more eyebrow...

I love it. My hubby is always buying guns. When I told him that I wanted a new sewing machine he didn't really say much. I will have to remember that comment though, for other things I may want. LOL

OH YEAHHHH!!!! I ask him if he wants me to calculate the real cost of this "free" meat.

He never has a problem with anything I buy.

I can say, 'How many fishing poles does it take to catch a fish?'.

How many guitars does it take to play a song. The problem is sewing machines cost more then his guitars but it's in the back of my mind for future machines.
