    Showing our age! Yes, I learned to do buttonholes by hand when I was a teenager.

    I can't imagine sewing a button hole by hand! I admire those of you that can do it.

    I also have a pair that belonged to my grandmother. My mom would be almost 105 if she were still alive so I can only guess how old they might be.

    Hmmm, interesting. It would take me forever to figure out how to use them! Wonder if they could be used to trim applique when machine embroidering? You could set the length/width/whatever.

    Never saw those before now!
    My friend's Grandmother hand sewed all the buttonholes in her wedding gown. I will never forget how stunning they were :)
