I am making chap stick holders. I received one in a birthday card and found it to be so handy, I am gifting 8 to my nieces for Christmas.

http://www.littlebitfunky.com has a tutorial to make a 5 minute one.

I'm trying to get thru quilting on my little machine, a queen size quilt for my niece for Xmas. Gotta get off the net and back to work!! After that - well --22 UFOs are on my list in various states of completion!

I would love to see a photo of these. Sounds like a great idea. Ellen

I like to call this activity "snewing." LOL

[QUOTE=yolajean;7958820]I am quilting this Zig Zag quilt that I am making for a friend's daughter. Won't be done by Christmas but have come to terms about that and am just doing my best. Lately I don't seem to have any "in between" times. Always have a quilt to make for someone. I'm doing SID with my walking foot around the white strips right now.

Yola, that's one of the prettiest zigzay quilts I have ever seen. Love your colors and fabric choices.
