Gives new meaning to "reverse sewing"!! His heart was in the right place, but his hands didn't coordinate. :-)

I'm afraid mine wouldn't even run in reverse if he tried to fix it. It would be one way to get a new machine though. You earned the award for the Chuckle of the Day, but don't imagine you see the humor in the situation.

What a wonderful husband. He tried, which is more than some. However, the backward thing would begin to get tiring. LOL

I give him credit for trying. It is a Janome and I paid good money for this machine. He gets one more crack at it and then it is off to the repair shop. I did tell him I put it on the internet. He just laughed and said somehow I knew you would. He is a great sport.

My husband can work on and fix a lot of things in and around the house, but my sewing and embroidery machines, he does not try to fix. In fact, the only time he touches them is to help me move them or load them up to go to a class. Hope your husband figures out what he did wrong and fixes it. AnnieMae

His heart was in the right place and sure he will figure it out if he is anything like my DH. Never lets a problem go unsolved.

I am sorry but I think that is pretty funny. I bet since he was talented enough to fix it he will correct his mistake. I admire anyone that can do what he did.
