    This is what I would do. Since most of the people there are not quilters or even sew, they might not really be able to visualize how the finished quilt would look. I've run into that when people are at my house and catch site of a quilt top on the design wall or laying over the banister. Then when they see the finished product, they are surprised.

    I gave a picture of the quilt top in a card to my niece and new husband and told them the quilt will be given soon when finished. They were ok with that and very happy when they received it.
