    For me, I'd leave it. If it bugs you, fix it.

    i would finish as is===many people (water-color quilters) use the back side of their fabrics all the time- i pay for both sides- and use the side that works for me- in a finished project no one is going to know you just didn't use a more muted fabric for some- variation creates movement and texture to a quilt

    Finish as is and move on to the next project. Nobody but you will know it wasn't intended to be that way.
