Blocks on point with a rail fence sashing and nine patch cornerstones, to pick up and repeat what is in the bottom left corner block in the pic. Only I'd have 2 dark fabrics in the rail fence, either the burgundy or black, and a light middle fabric (maybe the butter yellow? It's so pretty!) Very nice blocks! The top will be lovely whatever you choose to do.

They are really beautiful....I like the on-point idea, but would be inclined to go with the charcoal and the light stone/grey colour for sashings/borders. Depends how much fabric you have left over, but whatever you decide it will be just fine....you have a great eye for fabric/colour.

Sashing definitely. That would make the blocks stand out. They are very pretty and will make a beautiful quilt. I think a light color such as the buttery yellow would make the blocks pop. Show us what you decide.

I am a design wall girl! lay them out and "audition" them. I like the on point idea. Last time I wanted to put a block on point, I hated it that way! (go figure...I usually LOVE them on point). Try out a couple sashings underneath. Even if you do it at the quilt shop. I think sashing is a must with these. You lose the design when they are 'mushed' together. Did you piece them? I like them alot!

Agree with the others about sashing. I'd use grey and black to make the blocks pop.
Trying out ideas on a design wall will tell you what you need to do.

Those are just excellent blocks!! Since there's already a lot of yellow, I'd probably go to a darker color. The darker burgundy or black sound good. So does auditioning fabrics on a design area. Show us when you're done! Happy sewing! :-)

I think on point with a thin frame of a tonal something around each one and a tonal plain block between. Altho these blocks are sharp, when put together in something, there needs to be places for your eyes to rest.......also a sash and regular border to frame this piece of art in......whichever way you do it, it will be your creation.....have fun....
