I had a set of blocks like that, made by different people, only they were not all the same size. So I framed all of them with a color that matched that block. Some had two frames, as they already had one frame on when I got them. And some got a tiny frame and then a larger one. You could frame each in 1/4 inch of black or something very dark, and then another frame. After they were all framed and the same size, I put them together with a very light 2 inch sashing. When my granddaughter saw that, the first thing she said was, "Looks like a quilt show." So that is the name of that quilt. "Quilt Show" Each block is showcased. I have another one in process right now.

I'd do something a lot more interesting than just rows of blocks with plain sashing. I have a couple of patterns that have sampler type blocks but I don't think you can get the patterns. There is at least one book about how to set swap blocks that is likely to have more interesting things to do with sampler blocks.

Two thoughts: each block bordered, then sashing
and
using two colors, make each border with two ajoining sides of each color. Then by changing which two sides touch, you can even change the result and possibly make the transitions from each block smoother.

I would do sashing...audition dark and light to see what you like best. I also like the look of samplers on point. See how a "blank" square of fabric looks with your blocks. Anyway just my opinion, your blocks are really nice!
