Soft yellow for the sashing and the other colors for the cornerstones.

I am unsure why you are rushing ahead in this project. Take a step back. You need 1 1/2 yds for sashing according to the material list. Be patient and let it come to you as you progress. It will be fabulous ....

I think all you have to do is take that vertical strip off and swing it around top to bottom. Ask me how I know. Good luck. edjay

Great quilt and Maniac Quilter 2 has some good advice. You did a great job.

You could use one of those brights for the binding. Good Luck. Beautiful blocks!
I agree. Audition the yellow. I think it would look great.

I think I'd stay with the soft yellow. The blocks don't need another design/color element to make them show off their stuff.

Not that you asked, but I think I'd move either the far right middle row or far right bottom row--------the two zigzaggy blocks make me uncomfortable. Strange word, but those two bother me being together. But not close to the windblown square. Maybe just flip flop #3 & #4 in the bottom row.

Like some of the other posters, I think 5" sashing is too wide. to keep balance, I think the sashing should be about half the width of a single square within a block. Whatever that is
