i have 2 of them..both the same. it is for a girl i shared a room with when we had our knee replacements. she had such hard time of it..i was her cheering section while she was with me for 10 days. anyways, i think of her alot..we have exchanged emails over the last few months. she has Boxers, and i saw this and had to have it for her..

now, what to do with it? no quilts!
maybe a tote? would it be tacky? use both pieces, front and back. what color would you put with it?

looking for some ideas from you creative people!

Boxers? I'm guessing the fabric is of dogs. I made a tote for a dog friend of mine. In her case, I had photos of the dogs. The pictures are actually pockets.

CUTE bag/tote!!! What pattern did you use?

Other ideas: Dog bed? Dog coat? Blanket/throw to put in the car for when the dog rides with her? (Make the blanket with the fabric on one side, and fleece on the other. Quilt the two layers together. Works good with preshrunk flannel instead of cotton too.

I would make her a tote bag and put the dogs in a block on the front. And if you have two of them, you could put one on the back. Oops! I just read your original post that said the same thing I just did!! Okay, Good Idea!!

How about different shades of brown? Someone just made a horse quilt on here and I rarely use browns but but she used different shades of brown for the sashings and it looked really nice on her quilt.
