Mine would be that my sewing room is finally put back together. Had it all tore apart cause I was waiting for the new table for my Janome 7700, and it finally got here. Been on back-order for allmost 4 mo. So, if I can get it done today, (everything in it's proper place and I know where it is), I'll be back to sewing and that will be my perfect day

My perfect day would be when DH is gone all day. I don't even mind making my own coffee, fixing my own lunch, etc. as long as I'm all by myself! It's supposed to happen 10/8 when he's playing in a golf tournament that SHOULD last most of the day. Can't wait!!!!

Old movies playing that I've seen enough times that I know what's going on without watching, a day of accurate cutting, perfect 1/4" seams, no ripping, and no telephone. Oh...the good life!

Perfect sewing day for me would be to be able to sew a block from start to finish without making any mistakes, have no problems with my sewing machine, and no interruptions!

I had a pretty good one yesterday. I moved my embroidery machine into the front entry way so that I could hear it when it was time to change thread color. I'm working on embroiderying fall leaves to make a wreath for my door. While my machine was running all by itself (as my DGS says) I cleaned my bedroom, put all the clothes away, cleaned my upstairs bathroom. Cleaned my kitchen and living room and made homemade bread. I heated up leftovers for dinner. All the while stopping to change the thread. Now this may not seem a great to some but for me it was. My work week starts on Sunday and I always feel better going back to work knowing that I got things done around the house and that I'll have less to do the following week. I stayed in my pj's all day and also watched alot of cooking shows and home improvement followed by a night relaxing in front of the TV. My daughter stopped by for a few minutes so that when her brother called her cell I could talk to him and then left. It sure felt good going to bed in a clean room with all my laundry put away. I've been single for just over a yr now and I love to have the day/evening to myself. I love it when the kids all come over don't get me wrong but I also love it when they leave. Peace and quiet is way under-rated.

My perfect day would start with my usual three cups of coffee while reading the paper and doing the Sudoku puzzle. I would then go up to my sewing room where my pattern would already be chosen and all my blocks cut out. Bobbins full and machine running like a champ. No cooking, no housework, and no interruptions.

i had a sewing vacation to michigan that wound up being my dream week stayed in hotel no cooking or cleaning just watching dvds and tv and sewing and eating out. my hubby was there for a convention so the only time i really went anywhere was to eat or go to a quilt shop which i hit several and even a cool quilt show in a little nearby town at a beautiful church. lol they were shocked to find someone from oklahoma at their show. the quilts were gorgeous. it was awesome id do it again in a heartbeat except id like to go to dallas tx this time and i even have a free place to stay there but im out of luck on the maid service and no convention to keep my hubby out of my hair. but oh the quilt shops!!! oh well life isnt perfect.

A sunny day, a quilting friend to sew with me laugh with me and chat with me, ordering lunch in, and hubby occupied elsewhere. Sewing room organized to where I can find the fabrics I need and a great pattern to work on.

My perfect sewing day is at a retreat I go to in a couple of weeks. It runs from Thurs pm to Sunday after lunch and all food is provided and we pay a little extra so we don't have to do full scale cleaning before we leave. I always go with a couple of projects completely kitted and make a lot of progress.
