I am working at my job today which is not quilting so... in my spare thought moments I will be daydreaming up a quilt in my head.

Finish assembling the rows of blocks in a quilt for my grandson... AFTER getting my old sewing machine out, as I just got home from taking my fancy new one back to the dealer for repairs again (sigh ...)

Care to share the pattern? Sorry, I just found it. Sounds like fun.

Unfortunately, I have another friend who's cancer has returned and he is looking at 2 to 3 years of chemo. He survived 7 hours of surgery a few months ago. They removed one kidney, removed cancer growing around his artery and heart, and I don't know where else they worked. He had four doctors at his side. A wonder he survived. Cancer is back in four spots. OMG!!!

So, I am trying to design a quilt in my head for him. He loves Rottweilers and have ordered some panels, thanks to a board member who led me to a site where I could order them.

I am looking forward to doing something nice for him and I know he will love and cherish it. Yolanda Wood River
