Nothing but praying for rain, it is 6:45 P.M. and still 102, I am thankful my AC is working well. Hopefully, tomorrow I'll feel more like doing something constructive. Have been working on my Row by Row patterns, think my get up and go just got up and went. LOL

Lovin' my AC... clocking in at 104 degrees outside. Hoping to cut blocks out tomorrow.

Burying threads in my "scrappy learning curves" which is the drunkards path block. Picture won't upload from my iPad. Can't imagine it is too big. Next up is to make another purse for my best friend. I made her one about 2 or 3 years ago and she has washed the life out of it. She has used it nonstop since I gave it to her.

I just finished--totally!! (Dh keeps saying 'except for what' because I have a habit of saying 'it's all done, except for...) a baby quilt for our latest great nephew. It is a special quilt because a couple of years ago, his mommy put her own life on hold to help our DD and SIL while they worked thru a health crisis. Pretty proud of this one because I bought NOTHING--it was all from my stash. Shall post a pic tomorrow.

I am working on making split nine patch blocks from 2.5" squares. I need 120 blocks and am a little over 1/2 way there. YAY! I have a three day weekend for Independence Day and I'm hoping to get more sewing time in.

Not working on anything tonight. I, too, have had sore throat, etc. and laid low yesterday and today. But I did finish the last installment in the Harriet Truman/Loose Threads mystery series. And - just loaded another series, Southern Mystery Series by Eizabeth Craig.

I am working on the 'X block" for a Garden Maze quilt that I started 7 years ago while I am waiting for some thread that I ordered for my longarm. It's been too hot and humid and we are not used to humidity in central CA. We are on an electrical program that we use as little power as possible from 12noon to 6pm, so no AC just sit in from of a fan and nap..then stay up till midnight...

I sympathize with you. Glad you're feeling better.
